Play with Color to Give it Your Own Twist!
Recycle the pockets from old jeans into an interesting and useful throw quilt. It’s fun, practical and resourceful, providing places to tuck treats and even the remote.
A variety of red prints evoke bandanas, which are naturals with denim. However, the quilt will be just as charming in other color combinations. Use a nicely contrasting color for the chain blocks.
This is an easy quilt to make. Simple piecing makes it go together relatively quickly.
The finished quilt, designed by Maria Umhey, is 48″ x 60″.
