You’ll love having this sturdy bag whenever you head to class, quilting group, and other occasions when you work away from home. Not only does it make it easy to carry your mat, but it protects the mat from scratches too.
It’s sized so that your 18″ x 12″ cutting mat will fit perfectly in the bag. The large pocket on the front will accommodate a few smaller rulers, a rotary cutter, and other tools you’ll need for cutting fabric and trimming blocks.
Plus, the bag is simple to make and you’ll have it completed in just a few hours. It also makes a great project for your quilt guild or sewing group so everyone can have their own.
The bag was designed by Daisi Toegel for Olfa. You can easily adjust it to fit mats of other sizes.
