There are So Many Color Options for This Quilt |
Go Traditional, Fun or Anything in Between!
Two and a half inch jelly roll strips make cutting a breeze for this easy quilt. Traditional colors fit well with the design, although we can easily imagine it in other color combinations, too.
For example, it will be stunning in red, white and blue. We can also imagine giving it a starry night look with shades of navy and white. Or, select vintage prints for a Civil war era look or for a 1930s sweetness. Crayon colors will be fun, too, for a young person in your life.
The next two examples, made by doreenj45, show how the quilt’s personality changes with creative color selection. Clearly, this quilt will be wonderful in whatever colors you choose.
This quilt is an easy one to put together. Simple piecing and star blocks made of fusible applique will stitch up in a breeze.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
