Choose Two Complementary Fabrics for Your Own Pretty Version!
Two beautiful fabrics and a couple of hours of time are all it takes to make up this pretty apron. Make one for yourself and others to give. It’s a wonderful gift any time of the year, especially when you need to finish something up in a hurry.
We love this version in Christmas colors but this easy project will be lovely in just about any color combination. Look through your stash and you’re sure to find several combinations that will be beautiful when made into this apron.
The tutorial, from Jona Giammalva, uses a fat quarter for the main body of the apron and a 1/2 yard of an accent fabric for the ribbon and hem. She say’s it can be finished in an hour but you may want to allow a bit longer the first time you make it.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
