Potholders are great for test and orphan blocks. This one by designer Jacquelynne Steves is made of a simple star block.
The finished potholder is cheerful and fun. The colorful fabrics give it lots of charm. Plus, you can showcase a fussy cut in the center to make it even more delightful, if you want.

The finished potholder is about 8 1/2″.
