One large octagon makes an intriguing and eye-catching quilt. Floral fabrics soften the graphic design, while value contrasts provide a lot of interest.
Play with colors and fabric styles for your interpretation. This quilt will be stunning in vivid solids, elegant in soft hues or just plain fun in playful prints. It’s a great project for showing off a favorite fabric line.
We had fun playing in Photoshop to “see” it in other colors. These are just a few of the many ways the quilt could be interpreted.
This is also a relatively easy project. Large shapes will stitch together quickly.
The finished quilt, designed by Lynne Goldsworthy for Art Gallery Fabrics, is 74″ x 74″.
