Do This with Every Block for a Flat Top!

The flatter the blocks, the flatter to top and the nicer the quilt, right? If your blocks turn out less than flat, here’s a quick solution. One simple trick while pressing your quilt blocks will leave them perfectly flat.

The tip comes from Allison of Cluck Cluck Sew. She stacks books or magazines on top of freshly pressed blocks and leaves them until the blocks cool. The result is perfectly flat blocks that stay that way until they are sewn together or layered up for quilting.
