It’s Also Charming Storage Anywhere Around the Home!

Keep your sewing space neat and tidy with a pretty thread catcher. This handy bag will sit next to your machine, and can be folded and taken along to class. Make extras for storing spools of thread and other small items around the sewing room.

In fact, we can think of many things to do with this charming fabric bag. Fill it with treats for a lovely gift, or use it just about anywhere around the house for storing this or that.

Thread Catcher Bag

The catcher bag is a breeze to make in your favorite fabrics. Choose a fat quarter for the bag’s body, then select complementary fabrics for the rest. Fusible fleece gives the bag structure.

The finished thread catcher, designed by Rachel Griffith of P.S. I Quilt, is 7 1⁄4″ × 3″ × 2 3⁄4″.
