He’s a Cheerful Addition to Your Winter Decor!

A charming snowman in a top hat and patchwork scarf joins his bird friends in welcoming winter. His cheerful personality can’t help but make you smile.

This is also a lovely gift for those snow lovers in your life. Or, simply enjoy this wall quilt all winter long. It will brighten gray days and help you forget how cold it is outside.

Let it Snow Quilt Pattern

The snowman can be used in other projects as well. We can imagine two of them, hat to hat, for a table runner. Some simple patchwork between the two snowman blocks will add interest and length to the runner.

Fusible applique makes this a simple project to complete. While the “Let it Snow” sentiment is charming, it can be left off if you prefer. Add another snowflake or two to fill the space.

The finished runner, from Cool Cat Creations, is 20 1/2″ x 26 1/2″.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
