Pineapple Blossom Blocks Star in a Lovely Quilt
A Wonderful Quilt for Using Up Leftovers and Scraps!
Two inch strips and 3 inch squares combine in a colorful lap quilt made from Pineapple Blossom blocks. The sawtooth inner border is a wonderful touch.
This quilt, from Bonnie Hunter, is made entirely from scraps divided into light and dark values. The outside border pulls everything together into a cohesive whole.
Bonnie added sashing and cornerstones between blocks to enlarge the finished quilt. The blocks also look great without sashing.

You can also make this quilt up in yardage for a more coordinated look. Choose a variety of fabrics in each color for the charm of a scrap quilt.
Sarah’s quilt of coordinated colors is laid out without sashing.
The blocks are simple to construct. Make as many as you need to achieve the size quilt you want.
