Make a Pretty Pincushion Cuff in Fabrics You Love
This Makes a Wonderful Gift, Too!
Choose your prettiest fabric for this easy pincushion cuff. You’ll get many hours of good use from it while enjoying your creation.
This makes a lovely gift for sewing and quilting friends, too. The project is simple enough that you can have several made in just a few hours.
Interfacing gives the cuff structure while the flower is lightly stuffed. Add a stiff piece of plastic to the bottom of the flower to prevent pins from poking through.
Velcro holds the cuff in place around your wrist and the bit of stiffening allows it to stand on a table when that’s more convenient. An attractive button is a nice finishing touch.
The cuff is about 2 1/4″ wide while the flower is 2 1/2″ – 3 1/2″. Part of the beauty of this project, designed by Keyka Lou of Michelle Patterns, is that you can easily adjust the size to fit your needs.
