It’s Sure to Become an Heirloom!
Frosty colors against black create a stunning winter quilt. Snowflakes, both large and small, seem to swirl across the surface, mimicking their outdoor cousins.
This is a gorgeous quilt to display every winter, and one you’ll be proud to call your own. Take your time and enjoy the creation of what’s sure to become an heirloom.
Large snowflakes are made from Dresden Plates with wedges in 3 lengths. The smaller snowflakes can be appliqued or embroidered.
Needless to say, this is not a quick quilt to make. However, it’s well worth the time you’ll spend piecing and appliqueing. It’s also a wonderful project for expanding and practicing your skills.
The finished quilt, designed by Brenda Sutter, is 97½” x 115″.
