Create a Pretty Little Sewing Kit to Use or to Give

Perfect for Wardrobe Malfunctions and More!
This sweet little travel sewing kit is perfect for repairs on the go. Or, use it for a bit of hand sewing while waiting for appointments. It’s compact yet big enough for all the essentials.
There’s room for safely storing small scissors, needles, pins and even a bobbin or two of thread. Or, use the case to store ear buds, coins or jewelry.
Strips of pieced fabric form the outside of the case. Add bits of wool felt to the inside for securing needles and pins (or leave them off for other uses). A snap holds the case closed.
The finished travel kit, by Lisa Cox from A Spoonful of Sugar Designs, is 3 ½ inches on each side when closed. It measures 3″ x 7 ½” when open.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
