Embellish This Quilt, if You Wish, With Buttons and Gold Trim!
Violets evoke that magical feeling of wooded areas in early spring when days are sunny, and the weather is warming.
This lovely little quilted candle mat features a ring of violets and reminds us of those special days. It will provide a breath of fresh air, whatever time of year you choose to display it.
Simple piecing and fusible applique make this a quick project. You can embellish your quilt, if you want with gold trim and buttons.
The finished candle mat is 12 1/2″ x 12 1/2″. Or, enlarge the pattern and make a wall quilt or table topper.
