Try Your Hand at Making a Miniature Quilt

| February 18, 2016 | Quick Quilting Projects
Be Precise, Take Your Time, and Enjoy This Little Gem!
Have you ever wanted to make a miniature quilt but been a bit intimidated by the thought? This lovely quilt is a nice one to spread your wings with.

The quilt is made from 1″ and 1 1/5″ fabric squares. If that sounds a bit scary, just remember to sew a scant 1/4″ seam and be as precise as possible.
We love the fabrics Heather from Quilts Actually chose for her version. But go ahead and make yours any color combo you want. Quilt it by hand, or by machine.
Once completed, add pockets and a rod so it can hang proudly on your wall (see Heather’s instructions here – she uses a clothes hangar rod!).

The finished quilt is 14 1/4″ x 17 3/4″.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
