Make Your Own Jelly Rolls

| July 22, 2015 | Quick Quilting Projects, Scrap Quilts
Jelly rolls are very handy to have on hand for quick, scrappy quilting projects. Fabric manufacturers make jelly rolls out of 2.5″ strips of every fabric in a product line. If the line has 40 fabrics in it, then there are likely to be 40 strips in the jelly roll.
This gives you a lot of variety in one jelly roll package, but you may want more control over what fabrics to you have to choose from for a particular project.
Jelly rolls aren’t hard to make from your leftover fabric. And, by making your own you can coordinate fabrics and colors as you want, rather than being stuck with what a manufacturer has bundled together.
This video will show you exactly how easy it is to make your own jelly rolls.
