They Make Lovely Gifts, Too!
Protect your sewing scissors with a pretty patchwork scissors keeper. Select an attractive button, whether new or old, to place over a snap for a lovely finishing touch.
This is a great project for scraps and one you can have finished quickly. The keeper makes a great gift for your sewing and quilting friends, too, so don’t be surprised if you find yourself making more than one.
The designer, Lisa Cox from A Spoonful of Sugar, provides instructions for two sizes:
- Small – 7″ tall x 3″ wide
- Large – 9 ½” tall x 4″ wide.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
