This cheerful quilt makes us think of sunny days and sandy beaches. The lighthearted color combination contributes to that “feel”, as does the airy overall design.
Notice the interesting sashing with Hourglass posts. Floating Flying Geese units in the sashing contribute to the quilt’s airy look.
Choose a variety of fat quarters for your own version. Those from one fabric collection will already be color-coordinated. Or put together a nice combination from your stash.
Designed by Denise Russell of Pieced Brain, the finished quilt is 54″ x 70″.
