Create Pretty Blooms in Your Favorite Colors

Choose your favorite color for a beautiful blossom block. It can be incorporated into many types of projects.

Instructions are included for three block sizes. Finish one of the small sizes for a mug rug, the medium size for a pot holder or the large size for a small table quilt. Combine several blocks of any size for a larger project.

While the block looks complex, it’s created with standard piecing and is fairly easy to make. A simplified version is also included.

The designer, Julie Cefalu from The Crafty Quilter, includes instructions for a pretty throw pillow. Layouts for larger quilts are also provided, as well as instructions for the cute mug rug shown above. Add borders and Insul-Bright to turn it into a potholder.

Instructions are provided for 6″, 9″, and 12″ blocks.
