Make the Placemats, the Coasters, or Both!
Set a pretty table with this charming placemat and coaster set. Choose a combination of fabrics you love and enjoy how they brighten your table any time of the year.
A pieced scalloped border around a nine-patch block gives the impression of hearts in the placemat. The coaster is made from a different pieced heart block.
Both of these projects finish up quickly. You can have a set (or several) made in just a few hours. Or just make place mats or coasters if you prefer.
The place setting from American Patchwork and Quilting is based on a design by Corey Yoder. Instructions are provided for the following:
- Place Mat – 12-1/2″ × 19-1/2″
- Coaster – 6-1/2″ square
