Perfect for the Holidays, Birthdays and More!
Choose a fun fabric for the placemats, add strips for the ribbons and tuck napkins in for the bows. Voila! A quick and festive set of placemats to add cheer to your table.
The placemats are so easy to make that you can have a set done before you know it. Instructions are provided for starting from scratch with yardage, starting with a pre-quilted fabric, and even for adding the ribbon and napkin bows to purchased placemat sets.
If you’re starting from scratch, select fabric to fit the occasion and your decor. It can be a fun conversational print, an elegant floral or even a beautiful plaid.
These are so easy that you may want to make sets for use at special occasions throughout the year (birthdays, Christmas, 4th of July, Thanksgiving …). They also make fun and festive gifts.
The pattern, from Jo-Lydia’s Attic, is for 14″ x 18″ placemats and matching napkins.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
