Play with Colors to Make It Yours!
This pretty little quilt will be lovely on a wall or table anywhere in your home. The beautiful design of a simple flower framed by leaves can be enjoyed any time of the year.
While the quilt was designed to represent a sunflower, it can also be interpreted as many other flowers. Simply change the colors to give it different looks.
Standard piecing is used to construct the majority of the quilt, while the bloom itself is made by hand from English paper piecing (EPP). If you’re new to EPP, this is a great project for giving it a try, as video instructions are included with the pattern.
The following Photoshop experiments show the quilt in other colors.
The completed mini quilt designed by Liz Taylor isĀ 11″ x 18″.
