Create a Forest of Your Own with Layer Cake Squares

The Quilt is Beautiful in Any Color Palette!
Bring a forest inside with this beautiful quilt. Rows of pine trees in unusual colors create an inviting quilt to snuggle with during cool weather.
Plaids against a gray background give the quilt a rustic look. The muted colors evoke thoughts of a late autumn forest, but the quilt can be displayed any time of year.
Christmas colors will be beautiful in the quilt. Or go with any color theme that inspires you. The trees will look lovely in any color palette, especially with a contrasting gray or other neutral background.
Start with a layer cake of 10″ squares and a neutral background fabric. The quilt is easy enough for confident beginners.
Designer Jen Daly provides instructions for a 60 ½” x 64 ½” throw quilt.
