Traditional style, given a modern twist, takes center stage in this beautiful quilt block. Dark and light value contrasts give it a strong graphic design, while floral prints soften the look for a block that will work in many types of projects.
The block is quite versatile, so get creative and make it your own. Fussy-cut the center, or feature a lovely print there. Solids will give it a strong, modern look. Play with value placements to change the look.
Two quilt layout suggestions are provided to help you see how the block will work in a quilt. It will also be great in a runner, a wall hanging, and more.
