This Will be Beautiful in Many Other Color Combinations, Too!
This unusual and charming table topper is far easier to make than it looks. And, it will be wonderful in just about any color combination.
Stitch it up in frosty blues and whites for the winter, autumn hues for the fall and 1930s reproduction prints for all year long. It will be beautiful in traditional Christmas colors as well.
It will also be lovely in colors to match your decor or that of the person you’ll be giving it to. Yes, this is a great gift for just about any occasion.
The instructions are for using 10″ layer cake squares. That’s an easy way to select fabrics that will work well together, as each pack is from a coordinated fabric line. You can also make this with pre-cuts and yardage already in your stash.
The only thing that may give you a bit of a challenge is the binding. But don’t let that stop you. It’s easier than it may seem at first glance. Plus there’s an excellent tutorial for binding inside corners here.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
