An Easy Runner You’ll Have Done in a Flash

Make One for Every Season!

Start with 5″ squares for a pretty runner that is quick to finish up. Choose a charm pack you love or pull out squares from your stash. Any combination you enjoy will be lovely in this table quilt.

Think about seasonal fabrics, too. We can easily imagine this in Christmas colors as well as the deep colors of autumn (against a dark background instead of white). Use your imagination to create your own wonderful runner.

The runner is easy to make and can be finished in a day or two. You may want to make more than one to switch out as the seasons change or to give as gifts.

The pattern, designed by Allison Harris of Cluck Cluck Sew, is for a 20″ x 42″ runner.

A second runner, “Oh Clementine”, is included in the pattern.

It’s just as easy to make, and just as lovely in various color schemes. That runner is 22″ x 39″.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
