If You Enjoy Playing with Color You’ll Love Making This Quilt!
Beautiful gradations of color and value make an artistic quilt you’ll enjoy for many years to come. Piecing for this quilt is super easy, as it’s made entirely from nine-patches. That allows you to focus on planning out your own colorful masterpiece.
Fabric selection and placement are key to the success of this quilt. We recommend proceeding as designer Jean Nolte did. Select two complementary colors and then choose variations in value within the two to provide contrast.
The finished quilt is 66″ x 90″. Use it as a throw or on a twin bed. Or, add two more rows on each side for a Full or Queen sized quilt.
