An easy way to select fabrics is to start by choosing a colorful border print. Then select popsicle fabrics to coordinate with it. You probably can find fun combinations already in your stash and scrap bin.
While the tutorial is for little mug rug-sized quilts, they’re easy to enlarge for a wall hanging. Or consider hanging several mug rugs together for a fun display, as suggested by the photo below.
A bit of piecing and fusible applique make these mug rugs quick projects. You can have several made in just a few hours.
