Make a Pair for Yourself and a Pair to Give!

These darling and comfortable slippers are easy to make and a delight to wear. Simple patchwork gives them plenty of charm. We can imagine making several pairs in various fabrics for wearing throughout the year.

The slippers also make wonderful gifts. Give them for Christmas, Mother’s Day and any time you need a special gift that will make the recipient feel pampered.

The pattern is easy enough for beginning quilters and comes with instructions for a matching travel bag. Charm squares are perfect for this project, or dig into your stash and pull out some of your favorite fabrics.

The slipper bottoms have non-grip surfaces (Anti-Skid Gripper Fabric). They also have removable insoles. A foam based non-fusible interfacing, such as ByAnnies Soft & Stable, is used to give the slippers structure.

Full sized templates are included for women’s sizes 5 – 11.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
