Create a Charming Mug Rug from Scraps

It’s a Quick Little Gift, Too!
This charming little quilt was designed as a mug rug, but we’d include it in a display of small wall quilts or hang it above a shelf. One can also be used as a small table mat under a vase of flowers or a candle. Or consider one mug rug top as a quilt block, and combine four of them for a larger table mat.
Reproduction prints give it a warm and inviting look. Or use brighter modern prints if you prefer. This is a great project for scraps, so have fun sorting through them for a pretty combination.
Notice how a touch of hand quilting is a lovely finish for this little quilt.
