There is No Curved Piecing Involved!

This sweet little quilt features a beautiful and graceful design made from pieced hearts. A pretty combination of batiks and tone-on-tone prints gives it a charming dreamy quality.

It’s great for display on Valentine’s Day, for anniversaries, and any time of the year. It’s also a wonderful gift for anyone who could use a hug or who just likes hearts.

Heart to Heart Mini Quilt Pattern

While the design looks complex, it’s made entirely from standard piecing. Surprisingly, there is no curved piecing involved! The curves are created using an innovative method that produces curves without curved piecing. In the process, a 3D effect is achieved that adds texture and interest to the design.

The finished mini quilt, designed by Annette Ornelas from Southwind Designs, is 21” x 21”. It will be lovely just about anywhere on a table or wall.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
