It’s a Lovely Seasonal Quilt, Too!
Pretty houses line up in rows in this charming quilt. The sky peeks out behind them adding interest, as well as a chance to play with texture and color.
For example, a dark print with small stars would turn this into a night time scene. Or go with whatever sky color inspires you.
This is a fun project and great in any color theme. It also makes a wonderful seasonal quilt.
Quilt from Gwenny Penny.
In the following example the designer added a few tree blocks and holiday colors. This will also be a wonderful quilt to enjoy during chilly winter months. Learn more about this version here.
Instructions are included by the designer, Allison from Cluck Cluck Sew, for three quilt sizes:
- Throw – 63″ x 73″
- Twin – 63″ x 91″
- Queen – 84″ x 91″
It will also be simple to reduce the number of blocks for a wall quilt.
The tree block template is available for free here.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
