Choose from Several Already-Coordinated Color Themes!

This striking quilt is so beautiful and one you’ll be proud to call your own. The creative design is given texture and depth by the use of batiks, although small-scale prints will be lovely too.

Any color theme is wonderful in the quilt. We have several examples to help you get started. Choose one of these or create your own special version.

The complex design is made entirely from squares, half-square triangles, and stitch-and-flip units making it far simpler to construct than it may seem.

Originally, Wilmington Batiks made patterns available for all of the color variations shown here. However, only one pattern is currently available but you can use that with any color combination you prefer.

You’ll find many Wilmington Batiks to choose from here and here, however, batiks from any designer will work just as nicely.

When constructing the quilt, take your time and be careful to keep your pieces and units organized. In the end, you’ll be rewarded with a stunning quilt you’ll cherish for years.

The finished quilt is 62″ x 78″.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
