Create an Easy and Charming Quilt from Layer Cake Squares

Go Scrappy or Choose a Coordinated Color Palette!
Create a lovely quilt from 10″ layer cake squares in your favorite colors. This is an easy quilt that can be given a vintage or modern look depending on the fabrics you choose.
Start with a coordinated combination of prints from a layer cake and add a background and border to set them off. This is also a great project for leftover layer cake squares.
A scrappy look is wonderful in this quilt. Or go with a more limited color palette for a color-coordinated look.
Instructions are provided by the designer, Lindsey Weight from Primrose Cottage Quilts, for three quilt sizes:
- Small Throw – 60″ x 60″
- Large Throw – 75″ x 75″
- Twin – 75″ x 90″
