Create This Striking Quilt for Valentine’s and More
It’s a Great Project for Young Quilters, Too!
Many girls (from 1 to 101!) love pink and hearts any time of the year. This charming quilt includes both in a striking design.
While it’s perfect for a youngster, it also makes a charming lap quilt for chilly weather leading up to Valentine’s Day. Choose an ombre fabric in your favorite color to show off the design to perfection (it doesn’t have to be pink!).
Plus, the quilt is super simple to make. It was created by Stephanie Palmer from Late Night Quilter along with her 7-year-old daughter. They worked together to design, sew and quilt the eye-catching quilt.
Ombre fabric adds zing to the striking design. You’ll need a yard in the color of your choice. The example quilt was made using Pink Ombre, by V and Co for Moda (available here while supplies last). Other colors are available here.
The finished quilt is 51.5″ x 55″.
