This beautiful pillow sham will be lovely on a bed, a sofa, or in your favorite easy chair. The pretty patchwork will be charming in prints for any season or use your favorite color combination.
It will be fun to make this up in prints to match a quilt or go with whatever colors you prefer. The design provides many beautiful options depending on how you place the colors and values.
While the sham looks similar to a bed pillow, it’s too long and narrow to fit one. Instead, the instructions specify a 17″ × 28″ pillow form. That’s an oddball size so if you’re unable to find one you like, an 18″ x 28″ form should work just fine, or use the instructions found here to inexpensively make your own.

The completed pillow sham, designed by Sherri McConnell, is 28 1/2″ x 17 1/4″. It has a zippered back for easy removal for laundering.
