They’re Easy to Switch Out Every Season!

These darling pillows are actually pull-on covers that are secured at the top with buttoned tabs. That means they can easily be switched out with covers for other seasons or ones that complement your decor all year.

The charming patriotic designs are so much fun for the 4th of July. You can also change the colors (and omit the 4th of July sentiment) to create cute pillows that can be enjoyed any time of the year.

It’s also easy to finish them into wall and table quilts. Add borders if you’d like to make them larger.

Use your favorite applique method to create the designs. Embellish them with embroidery, buttons, and ric rac. Cover the pillow forms with fabric in a style and color that works with the covers (in this case, light blue gingham).

The pillow covers designed by Anne Sutton from Bunny Hills Designs fit 14″ x 14″ pillow forms.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
