Dress Up Jars With Charming Fabric Covers

May 22, 2025 | Kitchen Quilts, Other Quilty Stuff
| Instructions Are Provided for 3 Jar Sizes!
Whether you drink from Mason jars, use them for storage, or fill them with treats for gifts and party favors, these easy covers can quickly dress them up. The insulated version turns them into coasters that travel with the jars—nice!
Since there are three sizes to choose from, you can make covers for most jars you commonly use. Each cover can also fold down and form a cuff at the top for an extra charming touch.
Choose two compatible prints for every cover. Select fabrics that match your decor, are perfect for a gifting occasion, or that you simply enjoy. This is a great project for those prints you love but don’t know what to do with.
Cassandra Dee from FantabulOsew provides instructions to fit ½ pint, pint, and quart glass jars.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
