Easy Piecing and Solid Blocks Make a Lovely Quilt

This Will be Lovely in Any Appealing Color Combination!

This easy quilt turns standard quilt construction inside out. The blocks are solid fabric instead of pieced, and the sashing is pieced instead of one long strip of fabric. The result is a charming quilt that can take on any personality you want to give it.

Select a wide array of fat quarters to give the sashing its pieced scrappy look. Choose from a particular product line for easy coordination or pull a nice combination from your stash.

Confetti Quilt Pattern

The blocks, or background, can be any color or print that complements what you’ve chosen for the sashing. Solids will allow you to show off your quilting, whether it’s by machine or by hand.

This quilt is an easy one to make and can be pieced together in a relatively short period of time. Have fun playing with colors and fabric styles in creating your own version of this charming quilt.

The pattern, from The Sweetwater Co., is for a 75″ x 75″ quilt.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
