This sweet snowman mug rug will make you smile all winter long. His happy smile and feathered friend will chase away the winter blues.

The pattern has a companion sheet with options for changing the hat. There are 3 styles to choose from. Plus, you can give him mittens if you want.

While originally designed as a mug rug, you can combine variations of the snowman into a larger quilt for your table or wall. The design can easily be enlarged using these instructions.

Or, use the snowman applique in a lap sized quilt to enjoy all winter long. Add pieced borders around each snowman block or incorporate them into a quilt with large squares of fabric (like this pattern).

This mug rug makes a great holiday gift, too.

Fusible applique and easy piecing make this a quick and easy project.
