A Super Quick and Easy Bed-Sized Quilt!
Big blocks and a pieced border take on a vintage look when reproduction fabrics are used in this quilt. The quilt will be just as stunning in large-scale modern prints, solids, and batiks. But stick with small-scale prints and repro fabrics to replicate the vintage look.
The quilt is super easy to make. It’s all straight cutting and stitching. Beginning quilters will have fun with this quilt, as will experienced quilters looking for a quick project.
The finished quilt from the editors of American Patchwork and Quilting is 90 × 100″. It won’t be hard to adjust the size. Just determine how many rows of 10″ squares (plus the border) you’ll need to achieve the size you want.
