Use Scraps, Coordinating Fabrics or Fabric Panels!
Graceful feathers drift across the surface of this beautiful bed runner. They seem to float on air and combine for an eye-catching quilt that will be a lovely accent for any bed.
The runner is beautiful in many color combinations and is perfect for scraps. It will be fun selecting a pretty combination of fabrics in your favorite color theme.
A second pattern shows how to make the runner using the full-size Dream Big fabric panels (you’ll find a selection here). That makes fabric and color selection so easy and the results are simply gorgeous.
Fusible applique is used to make the runner. See and learn more about both versions here and here.
The finished runner, designed by JoAnn Hoffman, is 24″ x 90″.
The following pattern is for the version using the Dream Big panels.
Dream Big fabric panels in a variety of colors are available here.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
