How to Square Up Blocks That Are a Bit Too Small
An Ingenious Solution for Slightly Undersized Blocks!
In an ideal world, every quilt block would turn out perfectly square and exactly the correct size. However, when blocks don’t turn out perfectly, the next step is to square them up.
Often, a block is slightly too large, in which case you can usually trim it to a perfectly sized square. But what do you do if the block is somewhat too small on one or more sides?
Rachel Rossi has a great solution that works for any block with edges that fall within the 1/4″ seam allowance (for blocks that are short by more than that, consider this solution).
