Organize the Dividers However You Want!
This clever divided caddy is great for sewing supplies and much more. You’re sure to find many uses for it around the house.
Removable dividers allow you to organize the inside of the basket to best suit your needs. Plus, pockets around the outside mean everything can have its own spot and always be easy to find.
Choose a fabric for the outside and the dividers, and a second one for the inside. Make whatever combination of dividers you need to organize the inside as you want.
A foam stabilizer provides structure for the caddy. ByAnnie Soft and Stable is a good choice and is temporarily fused into place with basting spray. A fusible fleece stabilizer is used for the handles.
The finished basket, by Caroline from Sew Can She, is 7” tall x 15” long x 9” wide (not including the handles).
You’ll find the tutorial for the dividers here.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
