Do you have a pack of 10″ layer cake squares that you’ve been reluctant to use because you love it so much? Pam Buda has created a beautiful solution.
Her book, Vintage Patchwork: A Dozen Small Projects from One Bundle of 10″ Squares, is just what it says – a wonderful collection of small quilts and charming pincushions that can all be made from one layer cake.
Choose one of the pretty little quilts or make them all. You’ll have very few scraps left over from the layer cake if you decide to make all 12 of the projects.
Display the little quilts on tables, as a collection on a wall, tucked into baskets and more. The charming pincushions will make lovely gifts for yourself and others.
Pam used a layer cake of more primitive style prints. However, brighter modern prints will be just as wonderful.
