Dress It Up With Charming Embellishments!
Explore the beauty of patchwork and embellishments with this charming fabric sewing basket. The sides and bottom are one strip of patchwork, which can be made from any design that appeals to you.
Embellish the basket with hexagon flowers, embroidery, and hand quilting. You can also play with other embellishments to make it uniquely yours, or omit them entirely.
Besides being a fun and satisfying project, the basket is great for storing projects, tools, and other items. Its curved bottom corners give it a graceful design, while the inside pockets help keep things organized.
The completed basket designed by Irina from Nordic Crafter is 6” tall x 9” wide x 3 3/4” deep. Excellent instructions make it doable by quilters of most skill levels.
