3 Easy Options to Choose From!

Once your quilt is finished, what will go with it? Do you, or the lucky recipient, have pillowcases that match? Many new quilt owners won’t, which is why it’s a lovely idea to make one or more matching pillowcases to give with the quilt.

Donna Jordan from Jordan Fabrics has put together a wonderful video that demonstrates how to make three easy pillowcases. The first is a simple one from a single fabric that will go nicely with a child’s quilt.

The second includes three different fabrics for a bit of punch, while the third uses leftover blocks and is structured like a sham. All three are simple to make, have enclosed or serged seams and go perfectly with the quilt they’ll be used with.

Watch as Donna goes through the process of selecting fabric and making each pillowcase. She provides a lot of tips for making each style of pillowcase go together quickly. One of them is sure to be perfect for the quilt you’re working on.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
