Adjust the Number of Squares to Change the Size!

Dig into your scraps for a lovely set of patchwork trivets. These are so quick and easy to make and they’re pretty in any color theme.

While they are called trivets, they’re designed to be used as coasters or snack mats. To make them heatproof, add a layer of Insul-Bright to the batting.

The trivets designed by Anorina from Samelia’s Mum are about 8″ square using 25 squares in a 5 x 5 configuration. Those pictured here are about 9 1/2″ x 8″ (6 x 5 squares). You can easily adjust the size by adding or deleting rows and columns.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
