The beloved Delectable Mountains quilt block is lovely however it’s used, but we especially like this version in delicately colored fabrics.

The quilt, along with the 3 included pillow patterns, will create a soothing oasis for your bedroom.

Pastel Delectable Mountains Quilt

The piecing for this quilt isn’t hard. Half square triangles and squares make up the overall pattern. The design is enhanced by the use of stripes, florals and other softly patterned fabrics.

The designer, Mabeth Oxenreider, included instructions for 3 matching pillows. One is made from 4 blocks of the Delectable Mountains pattern, which is shown here as a mini quilt.

The quilt finishes at 90″ x 106″. If you love the look but don’t want to make a bed-sized quilt, consider making four pinwheels (16 blocks) into a gorgeous table topper or wall quilt. Or, make a mini quilt from the pillow top instructions, as shown above.
