Feature Your Favorite Fabrics and Make it Uniquely Yours!

Large patchwork half-square triangles create an interesting and charming chevron quilt. It’s the perfect project for showing off a favorite fabric line. Or, use up leftovers in your stash for a scrappy look.

Start with 5″ charm squares and sew them into nine patches, then make those into half-square triangles. Simplified construction means not having to deal with bias edges. Nice!

Choose 4 charm packs from a favorite fabric line and a complementary background fabric. We love the crisp look of the colors chosen by the designer.

Keep in mind, however, that any pleasing color combination will be wonderful in this quilt. You may even want to go with a colored background.

Imagine crayon colors against black or vintage pastel prints against pink, mint or aqua. The quilt will be beautiful in seasonal colors, as well.

The finished quilt, designed by Jeni from In Color Order, is about 78″ x 78″.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
